The Story

Do Something! Sunday, a cause marketing, voter engagement campaigncreated to filter through misinformation and disinformation about political candidates that the brand founder believed best represented the interests and concerns of Black Americans.

The impact of the Black vote was a key focus of the campaign, in local, state, and national races. The brand was committed to the truth, as they believed that the best vote, was an informed vote.

Our approach to developing the campaign was grassroots oriented.

First participating in community forums, speaking with potential voters across diverse spectrums, noting their prioritized concerns for the Greater Tulsa Metropolitan area, partnering with community organizations to craft campaign messaging designed to address key points of interests, then launching a targeted paper and pixel campaign.

Inspired Design

Designs were inspired by core visual elements of the 1972 Shirley Chisholm U.S. Presidential campaign, simple typefaces with an uppercase style, muted neutral colors, bold messaging, all made easy to share via social media. The action-oriented logo of Do Something! Sunday, imprinted upon all collateral, was the underlying message for all points of engagement.
